The Cocktail of the Month....

January 2009

The Biscotti Martini... 

Biscotti Martini

 

Biscotti Martini Directions...

1 oz        Cognac
1 oz        Starbucks Cream Liqueur
1 oz        Half and Half
1/2 oz    Sonoma Syrup Vanilla Almond Infused Simple Syrup*
               *(see products section)

Garnish -
Chocolate Syrup
Almond Biscotti, crushed

Add all ingredients into a Boston Shaker and shake well.  Dip the rim of a chilled cocktail glass in chocolate syrup and then gently roll in crushed biscotti. Strain and pour ingredients into rimmed glass and serve.

By Any Other Name Directions...

1 1/2 oz        Hendrick's Gin
1/2 oz           St. Germain Elderflower Cordial
1/2 oz           Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
2 oz               SENCE Rose Nectar
dash              Sonoma Syrup Pomegranate Infused Simple Syrup

Garnish -
Red Rose Petal and Easy Leaf Products Argento Fino Pagliuzze (edible silver)

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.  Shake well and strain into a chilled coupe glass.  Garnish with an edible red rose petal dusted with Easy Leaf Products Argento Fino Pagliuzze.

Aviation Directions...

2 oz               Aviation Gin
3/4 oz           Maraska Maraschino Liqueur
3/4 oz           Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Garnish -
Luxardo Cherry

Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.  Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  Garnish with skewered Luxardo Cherry.

The Grand Mimosa... 

Grand Mimosa

 

Champagne flute

  • ¾ oz Grand Marnier® liqueur
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 3 oz chilled champagne
  • Combine Grand Marnier® liqueur with freshly squeezed orange juice in a champagne flute. Top up with well-chilled champagne.
  • For a refreshing cocktail, fill a champagne glass half full with champagne after first pouring in a little of the shaken Grand Marnier® and orange mixture so that the two blend together. Then gently pour in the rest of the orange mixture.
