Tales of the Cocktail explores the history and contemporary life of the cocktail at various locations in New Orleans French Quarter. The event welcomes celebrities, mixologists, chefs, authors and cocktail experts as presenters and special guests from around the globe for seminars, spirited dinners and parties. Top names in the spirits industry like Dale DeGroff, Tony Abou-Ganim, Robert Hess and Kevin Brauch will once again take part in educating industry members and consumers alike about the cocktail.
WHAT ELSE:
More than 100 events that cover a wide-variety of subjects, new events include, Seven Deadly Sins theme party, On the Fly Bartender competition, USBG Caipirinha Competition, Spirited lunch on Moonshine, The Great Whisk(e)y debate, and the Tales of the Cocktail Spirit Awards recognize the best in the industry. Dinner pairings, cocktail parties, tastings and demonstration fill the schedule. Ticket sales begin in early Spring on, www.TalesoftheCocktail.com, for the seventh anniversary event, July 8-12, 2009.
